Developmental Milestones are a guide as to how typical children develop.  However,  all children develop differently,  some may be early in some areas,  and some may be later.  If your child is not meeting some of his or her developmental milestones,  it does not mean that your child is delayed,  just may be devloping differently.  if your child is not meeting most of their age developmental milestones you may want to contact your primary care physician,  or make a referal to West Virginia Birth to Three, to have a therapist come and evaluate your child.
